Labo VinAlcohol dilution
A mixture of alcohol and water (or aqueous solution of sugars, salts...) will contract. The result will be a final volume smaller than the sum of the initial water and alcohol volumes.
The % vol or °GL is the most used unit of alcohol concentration. One % vol is the concentration obtained by bringing 1 L of pure alcohol to a final volume of 100 L with water.
